The Fullerton Bay Hotel in Singapore opened this past July. The hotel was designed by Hong Kong-based designers Andre Fu and LCL Architects. The hotel's design reflects the current trends in fashion and interior design...glamorous, chic and modern. I absolutely love the play of scale in the lobby with the huge chandeliers and the funky wing back chairs and lamps. The repetition of diamond shapes in the mirrors makes the hotel feel appealing and yet edgy at the same time. The juxtaposition between the modern edge and the colonial touches in the dining space combine the country's history with modern design. Job well done Mr. Fu!
