I am designing a bathroom for a couple with clean, modern, taste. After shopping for tile at 3 different showrooms I kept finding myself drawn to vein cut travertine. It has just the right amount of natural, earthy-ness  balanced by a sleek, modern feel. Here are some rooms with vein cut travertine that look awesome...

Marvelous Mosaics

Clean contemporary design is everywhere these days. Kitchens and bathrooms trends have simple white cabinetry and white marble countertops. While I am a fan of the white look, the most eye popping mosaics are available today in some truly amazing colors and patterns. These tiles look so great as a focal point for any area that tile work is needed...entries, fireplaces, floors, kitchens or bathrooms...

Glazed Over

Ann Sacks has a new line of glazed terracotta tiles by Daniel Ogassian. These bold and graphic tiles are meant to be installed as a feature wall. I love how they look 3-D! They come in a variety of shapes and colors. The Geo pattern is featured in their installation example. Cola, Metallic Green Grey, and Wheat are shown below.

Bold Powder Room Design

I love dramatic, bold, powder rooms. They are the one room in a house can that be fun, surprising, and exciting. Wallpapers, decorative vessel sinks, unique light fixtures and color can all go into one small space in the powder room. A few examples that I love below...

Whenever I design a bathroom or kitchen one of my first choices in tile selection is waterjet cut tiles. The possibilities are endless for the design and the stones. The color combination can be dramatic or simple. You can outline the tile pattern by simply selecting a contrasting grout. Here are a few examples.
